Happiness is something that many people pursue. If you are pursuing it, you are on the wrong track out the gate! Happiness is not “out there”. It is not something to be “found”, as it is not lost.
It is really a matter of remembering, waking up. Remembering that you are more than merely human and that it is your “response-ability” that is a secret to your power to BE happy. You see, happiness is really a state of being. It is an “inside job”.
This time of year it is easy to get sucked into looking for happiness in things, and the “holiday season” is a great marketing tool for many merchandisers. While this is all fine and good, if you are expecting to experience lasting happiness, it would be wise to spend time getting in touch with your inner guidance, and cultivating your core confidence instead of seeking happiness in the next great gadget, outfit or piece of jewelry.
Again, I’m all for enjoying a variety of experiences here on our beloved planet, but if we don’t develop the awareness that we have choice as to how we respond instead of just continuing to react to external stimuli, we will easily be manipulated by others who don’t have our best interest at heart necessarily. Also, if we are depending on circumstances to “make us happy” – good luck.
The last I checked the only thing one can really count on in the physical world is, you got it – change.
Taking responsibility for yourself by building your mind muscle and learning to proactively manage your emotions (which often needs healing first) is a powerful step toward leaning “response-ability” – the ability to respond. Remember that it is not what happens to us that determines the outcome of our lives.
It is HOW we respond to our situations, experiences and circumstances, that make all the difference in just how much happiness you get to experience in your daily life. Happiness is a state of being, not getting, acting or pursuing.
Here are 3 keys that changed my happiness level:
1. Start focusing on gratitude instead of complaining – Gratitude is one of the most powerful spiritual forces in the Universe.
2. Start making friends with feelings and emotions – The energy of emotion has been scientifically shown to be 60 times greater in electrical energy and 5,000 times greater in magnetic force than thought. You want this powerful ally on your side. Healing past pain and learning to consciously manage your feelings is a major way of getting back to your natural state of feeling happy.
3. Getting in touch with my own inner Guidance – Taking your power back from externals is central to inner peace. As long as the standard for what defines happiness is in marketing materials and media, you are a sitting duck for perpetual dissatisfaction.
Happiness – go within or go with out! What do you think?

This is some helpful info, thanks. At the moment I’m really focused on getting shredded six pack abs. It’s my personal goal these days. Do you have any diet tips if the goal is to get a six pack as fast as possible? I’ve been told that egg whites, oatmeal, salmon, blueberries and broccoli are all important to include in my diet. Are there any other foods I should consider working into my diet?
I will add your link to the sidebar of my blog too. Your work actually means a great deal to me, thanks.

My fiance has such terrible back pain becuase she’s pregnant, hopefully some of this will help. Do you have any other suggestions?
Suggestions?, meaning from a mindset standpoint?
The main reason you got back trouble is because your body and spine have been taken out of their healthy position and straight into what we simply call dysfunctions. When you’re like most people, you move around and live your life without actually knowing you’re forcing your entire body to cooperate with all these dysfunctions, and eventually your body breaks down. I found some good information worth looking at for those who wish to avoid expensive doctors:exercises to relieve back pain
Thanks for writing about this. There’s a bunch of great tech info on the internet. You’ve got a lot of that info here on your website. I’m impressed – I try to keep a couple blogs somewhat live, but it’s a struggle sometimes. You’ve done a big job with this one. How do you do it?
Your blog is so informative
Intriguing, how would I make use of this?
You can start to pay attention to how you are creating your day. If you are feeling negative and complaining be aware that you are energizing negativity into the outcomes as you move throughout your day, and you will not feel very “happy” about this. It’s not what is going on around us as much as it is what we are thinking about what is going on, or if we are ruminating on yesterday’s events that we can’t change right now, we will feel down. We can let go of our thoughts about yesterday, and make a decision to change how we look at it, or just move on. The goal is to feel good inside and the more you focus on what is going right, the easier it will be to feel happy. It’s all in what you are focusing on.
Hi, Well this was definitely something new, I really liked it as I am new to this
